Description
"B" terminal circuit supplies power to charge the battery and operate the vehicle's electrical system.
Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK "B" TERMINAL CONNECTION
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check if "B" terminal is clean and tight
2.CHECK "B" TERMINAL CIRCUIT
Check voltage between generator connector F6 terminal 1 and ground.
1 - ground Battery voltage
3.CHECK "B" TERMINAL CONNECTION (VOLTAGE DROP TEST)
- Start engine, then engine running at idle and warm.
- Check voltage between battery positive terminal and generator connector F6 terminal 1.
1 - B+ Less than 0.2V
