Nissan Maxima Owners Manual: General maintenance
During the normal day-to-day operation of the vehicle, general maintenance should be performed regularly as prescribed in this section. If you detect any unusual sounds, vibrations or smells, be sure to check for the cause or have a NISSAN dealer do it promptly. In addition, it is recommended that you visit a NISSAN dealer if you think that repairs are required.

Description
The lifting motor (front) is installed to the seat frame.
The lifting motor (front) is activated with the driver seat
control unit.
The lifter (front) is moved upward/downward by changing the rotation
direction of lifting motor (front).

Description
BCM receives the 2 vehicle speed signals via CAN
communication. One signal is transmitted by the "combination
meter". Another signal is transmitted by "ABS actuator and electric unit
(control unit)". BCM compares
both signals to detect the vehicle speed.
