Removal and Installation

CAUTION:

  •  Do not impact the TCM when removing or installing TCM.

  •  When replacing TCM and transaxle assembly as a set, replace transaxle assembly first and then replace TCM. Refer to TM-8, "Description".

REMOVAL

  1.  Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Refer to PG-67, "Removal and Installation (Battery)".

  2.  Remove front air duct. Refer to EM-24, "Removal and Installation".

  3.  Disconnect TCM harness connector (A).

4. Remove TCM nuts and TCM (1) from bracket.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Adjustment

ADJUSTMENT AFTER INSTALLATION Perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING TCM". Refer to TM-8, "Description".
