Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
CAUTION:
When removing and installing, use shop cloths to protect parts from damage.
- Remove front seat. Refer to SE-68, "Removal and Installation".
- Turn blower filter counter clockwise and remove it from climate controlled seat blower motor.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Description
COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
Intake Door Motor
The intake door motor (1) is attached to the blower unit.
It rotates so that air is drawn from inlets set by the A/C auto
amp.
Motor rotation is conveyed to a lever which activates the intake
door.

System temporarily unavailable
When radar blockage is detected, the system will
be deactivated automatically. The "Side Radar
Obstruction" warning message will appear and
the BSW/RCTA indicator (white) will blink A in
the vehicle information display.
The system is not available until the conditions no
longer exist.

Optical sensor
Description
The optical sensor converts the outside brightness (lux) to voltage and
transmits the optical sensor signal to the BCM.
Component Function Check
