ECM RE-COMMUNICATING FUNCTION
ECM RE-COMMUNICATING FUNCTION : Description
the ECM has been replaced with a new one (*1).
*1: New one means an ECM which has never been energized on-board.
(In this step, initialization procedure by CONSULT is not necessary)

*2: To perform this step, use the key that has been used before performing ECM replacement.

Remove cluster lid D. Refer to IP-18, "Removal and Installation".
Remove the four multifunction switch screws (A) and the multifunction
switch (2) from cluster lid D (1).

P1715 input speed sensor
Description
ECM receives input speed sensor signal from TCM via the CAN communication
line. ECM uses this signal for
engine control.
