Vehicle security indicator is built in combination meter.

NVIS (Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System-NATS) and vehicle security system conditions are indicated by blink or illumination of vehicle security indicator.
Component Function Check
1.CHECK FUNCTION
-
Perform "THEFT IND" in the "ACTIVE TEST" mode with CONSULT.

Check vehicle security indicator operation.
Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK COMBINATION METER
Check combination meter. Refer to MWI-4, "Work Flow".
2.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to GI-41, "Intermittent Incident".
Inspection End.
Warning lamp
Description
Warning lamp is built in combination meter.
Intelligent Key system malfunction is reported
to the driver by the warning lamp illumination.

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
Disconnect all the unit connectors on CAN communication system.
Check terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose
