Nissan Maxima Service and Repair Manual: The ambient temperature display is incorrect

Description

  •  The displayed ambient air temperature is higher than the actual temperature.

  •  The displayed ambient air temperature is lower than the actual temperature.

Diagnosis Procedure

1.COMBINATION METER INPUT SIGNAL

  1.  Select "METER/M&A" on CONSULT.

  2.  Using "OUTSIDE TEMP" on DATA MONITOR, compare the value of DATA MONITOR with the actual ambient temperature. DATA MONITOR value and actual ambient temperature should be close.
