Apply CVT Fluid NS-2

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

  1.  Remove front fender protector side cover. Refer to EXT-16, "Removal and Installation".

  2.  Remove front drive shafts. Refer to FAX-9, "Removal and Installation (LH)" (LH) and FAX-10, "Removal and Installation (RH)" (RH).

  3.  Remove differential side oil seals (1) using a suitable tool (A).

    CAUTION: Be careful not to scratch transaxle case and converter housing.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  •  Install each differential side oil seal evenly using Tool so that differential side oil seal protrudes by the dimension (C) respectively.

(A) : Transaxle case side

(B) : Converter housing side

CAUTION:

  •  Do not reuse differential side oil seals.

  •  Apply CVT fluid to differential side oil seals.

NOTE:

Differential side oil seal removal direction is used as the reference.

Inspection

Check for CVT fluid leakage and check CVT fluid level. Refer to TM-155, "Inspection".
