Description
DTC B1065 - B1068, B1070 - B1073 PASSENGER AIR BAG MODULE
The passenger air bag module is dual stage and wired to the air bag diagnosis
sensor unit. The air bag diagnosis
sensor unit will monitor for opens and
shorts in detected lines to the passenger air bag module.

Diagnosis Procedure
1.HARNESS CONNECTOR
Visually inspect all applicable harness connectors for the following:
NOTE:
All harness connectors should be
inspected from the air bag diagnosis sensor unit to the end component
(including any in-line connectors).

3.WIRING HARNESS
Check the wiring harness for visible damage.
NOTE:
The entire wiring harness should be inspected from the air bag diagnosis sensor
unit to the end component
(including any in-line connectors).

6.FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG MODULE
7.RELATED HARNESS
Replace the related harness.

Diagnosis Procedure
1.CONNECTOR INSPECTION
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
Disconnect all the unit connectors on CAN communication system.
Check terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose
connection.
